DocVM Blockchain Associates Inc. is non-disruptive new Software as a Service (SaaS) and Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) technology, specifically designed for the Medical Industry. It will easily slip into the existing Hardware/Software infrastructure of any Medical complex, almost all of which have many siloed existing Systems of Record (SOR). Many of these SOR’s have old interfaces and are not web or mobile-enabled. Moreover these siloed Patient Record Systems may have records from a single patient, spread over many different systems with no means or method of aggregating the data.

DocVM is designed to aggregate and integrate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) from many systems that otherwise do not communicate with each other. It makes many systems function as one. Also since the DocVM Interface is used as the single System of Engagement (SOE) for multiple systems, you only have to learn a single interface to navigate through many systems. The DocVM Interface is a clean modern SOE that will modernize all existing SOR’s, including legacy client server systems and mainframes. It also will web and mobile enable these systems, based around defined business processes.

We will also be working with a major medical imaging company to integrate the many medical imaging standards that today are incompatible. When this integration process is completed siloed medical imaging systems will be able to communicate with each other.

Medical Imaging Files are also difficult to render on multiple devices especially mobiles, and require too much bandwidth. We will be collaborating with a company that has a streaming technology, which already has extensive experience in efficiently displaying Medical Records. With this technology you do not move massive Imaging files, rather you stream the pixels of the screen images, which are a fraction of the size of the data files.

Bruce Sanderson

CEO

Mr. Sanderson has an extensive technology background in the IT & Telecom sectors. His background includes Senior Executive positions as well as Sales and Marketing / Business Development with more than 25 years of experience in leading-edge technology fields, including telecommunications, security, video monitoring, data centers and fiber optic networks. Mr. Sanderson has been successful with both public and private sector entities acting as President / CEO for companies such as Uniserve Communications, a publicly traded national provider of Internet-based products and services. He has been or currently sits as a director on several boards including charitable organizations such as Family Service North Shore, First Nations Education Foundation and numerous advisory board positions in the IT sector as well as a member of the Information Technology Association of Canada. He is a registered IT consultant to Alpha Sights New York, the Gerson Lehrman Group and is on the board of Cascadia Gateway - a Canadian/US entity building a high-density carrier neutral fiber optic network between Vancouver and Seattle. He is currently a director and CEO of DocVM Inc.

Bill Grossholz

CFO

Mr. Grossholz, CPA, CA has been a Chartered Accountant for 35 years and has a strong financial management, administration, accounting and tax background. He has been the Chief Financial Officer, Director and Office Manager for several companies. Mr. Grossholz was a director of publicly listed companies Umami Seafood Corp. (UMAMI:OTC), Caiterra International Energy Corp. (CTI:TSXV) and Rift Valley Resources Corp, (RVR:CSE). He was also a founder and Chief Financial Officer for businesses in mineral and oil and gas exploration, power development, real estate development, technology and construction, and telecommunications sectors. Mr. Grossholz, after graduating from the University of BC (BComm) in 1980, operated a successful Chartered Accountancy practice in Vancouver for 14 years and was a Senior Business Auditor for the Canada Revenue Agency for two years. Mr. Grossholz obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia in May 1980.
